Summary of revisited claims

We're waiting for dan to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman,

dear sirs

under foi can you please confirm

How many claims of maladministration by a monitoring officer that were rejected initially by the lgo have been accepted for further investigation after a further much later admission or further evidence which shows the original complaint was indeed valid (ie when maladministration hidden by the monitoring officer)

how many were successfully investigated in the complainants favour

How many times has the lgo reopened a case years after a claim when fraud or other serious offences have been found to have been misrepresented by the monitoring officer as not a breach of duty at the original claim .

What was the result of the new investigations

Yours faithfully,

dan perkins
