Dear Her Majesty’s Courts and the Tribunals Service,

I request to know as part of my research, the following in relation to the Courts in the county of Suffolk.

When a suspect is charged with a crime the accused is tried by the courts and I require some overall statistics on this for the year '2016'.

1. Total number of charges made
2. Total number of accused people sent to the courts? (on the understanding that many of the accused will have many charges placed on them)
3. Total number of court cases?

4. How many court cases resulted in…
Guilty?
Not Guilty?
Case Dismissed?

Without knowing the limitations of your computer systems I can only hope that request '1' and '2' is possible. If not I will gladly except a response to request '3' and '4'.

Yours faithfully,

Tim Hawke
