Dear Department for Education,

Could you please provide copies of the successful bids for the SEN Pathfinder Pilots which began in 2011.

I note that there was an earlier request here https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s... which stated that the information would be available on the Mott Macdonald site but this appears not to be the case.

Yours faithfully,

Fiona Nicholson

Department for Education

Dear Ms Nicholson,
Thank you for your e mail of 18 March, in which you asked to see copies of
successful bids for the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
pathfinder programme.  I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.

Successful applications for the pathfinder programme were originally
published in January 2012 on the Mott MacDonald website at
[1]www.sendpathfinder.co.uk. They were removed in October 2013 as part of
a general refresh of the website, which aimed to focus the reader’s
attention on more current material about pathfinder activity.  Following
your request however, I have republished the applications on the
pathfinder site.  You can now find them in the pathfinder programme pages
of the website at
[2]http://www.sendpathfinder.co.uk/thepathf..., along with
newsletters and weblinks for each pathfinder area.
Your correspondence has been allocated reference number 2014/0024528. If
you need to respond to us, please visit:
[3]www.education.gov.uk/contactus, and quote your reference number.

If you are unhappy with the way your request has been handled, you should
make a complaint to the Department by writing to me within two calendar
months of the date of this letter. Your complaint will be considered by an
independent review panel, who were not involved in the original
consideration of your request.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint to the
Department, you may then contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Yours sincerely,

Angela Overington
