Successful complaints against Local Authorities
Dear Local Government Ombudsmen,
Can you please provide lists of all complaints against Local Authorities through yourselves (over the last five years) including those that have been successfully upheld by yourselves resulting in that Local authority having to take remedial action? Thankyou.

This is to acknowledge receipt of your request below. I also need to clarify your request. I'm not sure what you mean by 'lists of complaints against local authorities'. We publish an annual review of complaints we've dealt with against local authorities, and spreadsheets of the complaints received and decisions made against each local authority. The spreadsheet for the decisions gives a breakdown including those upheld and those not upheld. Is this what you want? There are three years' reports published here. If this is what you want, I will look into what information we hold for the two previous years.
