Thank you for your letter/email of 5th May where you requested the following information:
1. The text of the Subsidy Control Act 2022 (or if this is not available then the final text of the
Subsidy Control Bill submitted for Royal Assent).
The final Act isn’t yet available online but when it is, it can be found on the following link:

2. The latest Department slides explaining the contents of the Subsidy Control Act.

3. The agenda and minutes of the last two State aid / Subsidy Control departmental champions
meetings.

4. The latest version of internal guidance on the Subsidy Control Act 2022.
We have interpreted your request to refer to the draft guidance which is currently being
developed. The Government has announced it will publicly consult on this guidance and that
consultation will start soon. Existing guidance can be found on:

5. Guidance for local authorities on the Subsidy Control Act 2022.
There are no plans for separate guidance for local authorities
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 ('the Act'), you have the right to:

• be provided with that information (subject to any exemptions under the Act which may
apply).
Appeals procedure
