Dear Ministry of Defence,
To Wessex Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Association
Subject Freedom of Information request - Climate Assessment Report 2017
Dear Wessex Reserve Forces; and Cadets; Association,
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information which I believe is held by County of Gloucestershire Army Cadet Force, HQSW Brigade and yourselves.
In 2017 Gloucestershire Army Cadet Force (The Rifles) was subject to an Army Climate Assessment due to the working environment within the county being described as "Toxic and Divisive". During Gloucestershire ACFs' annual camp the final report and outcomes of the assessment was delivered to the serving Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV), including what measures have been put in place to rectify problems that arose from the report.
However, we were only given half of the report and its findings. Then when our Commandant was reinstated, we all received a letter from the HQSW Brigade Commander, saying that many of the problems had been rectified. I feel that we have been lied to and that nothing has changed, and as a result would like to file a complaint further up the chain of command.
Therefore, I am requesting the Climate Assessment and Report findings from you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please could you provide the information in paper or electronic format to this website.
If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.
If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact me via this website and I will be happy to clarify what I am asking for.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.
Dear Mr Goulding,
Please find attached response to your recent FOI request.
