I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding wheelie bin replacements and recycling refusals within the council's jurisdiction.

I would like to request data on the number of recycling bins refused at kerbside broken down per month over the last 3 years (2022, 2023 and 2024) Please provide the following:

• The total number of recycling bins refused per month of each year.

• The reasons for refusal if applicable (e.g., food contamination, presence of non-recyclable waste, or unusual items being placed in the bin).

• A break down of the number of recycling bin refusals by domestic/residential or commercial/business per month of each year?

• How many fines have been issued (if applicable) to residents due to incorrectly recycling per month of each year?

• How many fines have been issued (if applicable) to businesses due to incorrectly recycling per month of each year?

• How much revenue has been generated (if applicable) as a result of residents being fined per month of each year?

• How much revenue has been generated (if applicable) as a result of businesses being fined per month of each year?

Format of Response
I would appreciate it if this information could be provided in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or Google Sheets format for ease of analysis.
