information that we hold, set out below:-

The number of registered students with a visual impairment The number of

Below is the number of VI student disclosures in 2017/18. Please note
that these do not include those disclosing a VI with another disability as
these are recorded as two or more:
The table provides details for VI students currently registered, but also
for those financially suspended, withdrawn, exams pending, awarded & exit
qualification (as they were also registered as VI in 2017/18).
The University does not hold the data relating to the other parts of your
request i.e. The number of students who are text to speech users and the
number of students who are screen reader users.
The total number of students is 27,591.
If you are not satisfied with the University’s response to your request,
you may ask the University to review it. If you wish to do this, please
write to the Freedom of Information Reviewer, Legal, Risk & Compliance,
