We can confirm that during the summer period and into September 2020 the
University communicated regularly with our applicants and current students
as to the nature of their experience as a result of the pandemic,
including our blended learning approach to teaching and learning in
semester one. This communication was via email, our COVID19 pages online
and via our Myglos student portal which is accessible via login. The
enrolment and induction process included detailed information on the
nature of the 2020 academic year in the context of COVID19 and included
consent to our student charter and any changes to our learning and
teaching methods as a result of the COVID19 pandemic affecting face to
face teaching. At the end of term 1, over 95% of our students who enrolled
with us in September were still enrolled as we went into term 2 in January
2021.
