What is your annual budget for student transport? £1.3m of cost for campus
buses and public transport (organised by the college).

Do you charge students to use the transport service? If so, how much and
what type of tickets do you provide (daily, termly, annual)? Yes, mainly
annual cost with monthly payment plans

How many students use the transport per day? 800 on campus buses with 300
on public transport (organised by the college)

What is your occupancy rate? Question cannot be answered – 300 are on
public transport, campuses buses occupancy isn’t measured on a daily basis

How many parking spaces available vs. demand for spaces? Rural campus –
sufficient parking available to meet staff and student demand

How much do you charge for parking, and how much money is generated per
year? None – no charge for parking

Please explain how you procure student transport services. Tendered at
pre-defined period

Please identify any frameworks and or buying groups that your organisation
is a part of. Numerous depending on the requirement

What job role is responsible for managing the transport budget? Senior
Leadership Team

How many staff members are in the transport team? Team not specifically
dedicated to transport, cover all student aspects including accommodation
and bursary.
