Dear Her Majesty’s Treasury,

On 17th September 2017, the Sunday Times reported that the Treasury "is also looking at capping loans for some degrees at less than £7,500, cutting the 6.1% interest rate on student loans and raising the salary threshold at which repayments start to £25,000 ... In addition, the Treasury is considering two further options to bring in different fee levels, either for various subjects or according to graduate employment rates."

It also reported that it had sight of "an official analysis approved by accountants and seen by The Sunday Times [which] shows several universities have built up multimillion-pound surpluses from fee income."

Please release this analysis together with any analysis or options papers considered in relation to increasing student loan repayment thresholds, cutting interest rates on student loans are altering fee caps.
