Kindly requesting the access to the following information from all dates and times within the period

01/01/2018 - 31/12/2022 (1st January 2018 to 31st December 2022)

1) The number of student deaths recorded at any location (on or off campus)

And for each suicide recorded on campus:

2) The date of each recorded death

3) The gender and age of the student at time of death

If such information is not available, please include the maximum available information that is included in the request

Hi Anne,

 

Further to your request for information, under the Freedom of Information
Act (FOIA), to the University of Warwick dated 07 February 2023, we write
to inform you that the University is considering the public interest test
in relation to its response.

 

This test is used to balance the public interest in disclosure against the
public interest in favour of withholding the information. The FOIA allows
for the 20-working day target to be extended where there is a need to
fully consider the public interest test.

 

We would therefore like to notify you that in view of the above, we now
aim to provide you with the University’s full response by 04 April 2023.
