Dear Information Management,
Thank you for this report. We have identified concerning errors in the report you attached. Namely that the structural engineers identified the Gascoyne Estate blocks as ‘Bison’ blocks, they are in fact Taylor Woodrow Anglian blocks (see page 38 of the BRE Report ‘The Structure of Ronan Point and other Taylor Woodrow Anglian Buildings’ here: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/4...
We have written to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Hackney Council on this issue.
Yours sincerely,
Danielle Gregory

Dear Information Management,
No need for internal review. The FOI department has done their job in releasing the documents they have. The concerns are that the information contained within those documents is worryingly incorrect (the structural engineers commissioned by Hackney have misidentified the estate in their report as the wrong type of building/form of construction.) The local authority need to go back through their documents to find out if this building was mis-identified previously, cladding was added in 2012. If you could pass our correspondance to the relevant department that would be most appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Danielle Gregory
