Dear Ordnance Survey,
Please provide me with a list, in .txt format, of every street name which you have recorded as being in the United Kingdom. Where a name is used more than once, include it the relevant number of times.
Since I am not asking for any location data, this should not cause any commercial difficulties for you.
The material I am requesting is not included in your OpenData, since your gazzette datasets exclude some streets for some reason.
If you require any clarification, please contact me as soon as possible.

Please note that Ordnance Survey is considering your request under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). As your request was received by us
on 7th June 2010, we will provide you with a full response within 20
working days as required by the FOIA, meaning by 5th July 2010.

I confirm that Ordnance Survey does hold the information you have
requested.
Ordnance Survey has used OS MasterMap(R) Integrated Transport Network(TM)
(ITN) to extract all of the road names Ordnance Survey holds and the road
names have been placed in a text file - being your preferred format.
Integrated Transport Network(TM) is a digital network map of Great
Britain's road infrastructure and an update for Integrated Transport
Network(TM) is published every 6 weeks - keeping the product highly
current and complete.
Please note this information is subject to Crown copyright. You may only
use it for private research purposes or otherwise according to the
Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. If you wish to re-use the
information for any other purpose, you will need to contact Ordnance
Survey to request an appropriate licence. You may contact us on 08456 05
05 05 or you may e-mail [Ordnance Survey request email].
Please note that your enquiry has been processed to Freedom of Information
guidelines. As all requested information has been provided, we have
determined that in all the circumstances of this case the Public
interest consideration (section 17 FOIA) is not applicable in this
instance.
