Street Light Work in Skipton Town Centre
Dear North Yorkshire County Council,
I've noticed in recent days, including today (14th March 2023) that men have been out in vans with lifts working on the tops of the street lights.
Please can you disclose full details of the work being carried out and the purpose?

The work currently underway in Skipton involves replacing the existing
street lighting with new energy efficient LED units.
This is part of an ongoing County-wide street lighting energy reduction
programme.
