Could I refer you to a return made from ABC under FOI on the 8th November 2019. It confirms that the Safety Advisory Group were to advise that a street collection licence would be needed for the Boxing Day Event held in Tenterden in 2019 . It confirms a would be needed if collections were made. This was after a failure by the event organisers to do so in 2018.
It was confirmed that a collection was made on Boxing Day 2019. evidence is available.

3. Confirm that a street collection licence was applied for, date of application and a copy of the money raised on the completion certificate, confirming who the money was raised for. 2018&2019
(ABC CONFIRM) No street collection licence applied for in 2018, the SAG have advised of the need for a street traders licence for this year’s event if collections are wishing to be made.
COULD ABC Please provide details of the street collection licence application, documentation and the statutory return as required by law within 31 days of the event. Please confirm who made the collection and how the funds were distributed.
