Strategy for combating army recruitment shortfall
Dear Ministry of Defence,
Could you please send me a copy of the document that sets out the army's current recruitment challenges and its strategy to overcome them?
Can you also please tell me between which dates the army has lowered the minimum literacy requirement for entry from Entry Level 2 to Entry Level 1 in the past ten years.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
David Gee

Hello
Have you had the time you need to consider this request yet?
Yours sincerely,
David Gee
Hello again
This request was made on 3 March 2018, so is now four months old. A month after you sent a holding reply, I asked whether you had had chance to look at the request, and I did not hear from you.
Can you please tell me when you expect to be able to respond to the request?
If I have not heard from you at all by this Friday I will make a formal complaint. I hope to hear from you before then, though.
Thank you.
David Gee

Kind regards,
