NEWHAM, HACKNEY, TOWER HAMLETS AND WALTHAM FOREST
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116 & SCHEDULE 12
COMPLAINT having been made by the Council of the London Borough of Newham by
its Director of Legal and Governance RACHEL MCKOY for an Order under Section 116
of the Highways Act 1980 that lengths of highway known as Stephenson Street, Canning
Town, London, E16 more particularly shown edged red on the drawing attached hereto,
be authorised to be stopped up on the ground that they are unnecessary
AND the Court being satisfied that the complainant has given the notices required by Part
1 of the Twelfth Schedule to the Highways Act 1980
AND the Court having heard the complainant and being satisfied that the said highways
are unnecessary
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the said highways be authorised to be stopped up for
the purpose of all traffic in accordance with the application.
