Stonewall
Dear Sussex Police,
I note that you again have been listed under the Stonewall 'Diversity Champions programme' as well as their 'UK Workplace Equality Index'
Please would you confirm the nature of your relationship with the Stonewall organisation:
i) The costs incurred through any contractual or procurement arrangements with this organisation since 2017 to the present, (if this exceeds the cost limit, then, from 2018)
ii) the exact specification of this procurement or contractual relationship - i.e. what services were provided and how. Ideally with a summary of the (or each) service. For instance are the two programmes listed above part of a scheme that your police service pays for?
I look forward to hearing your reply and thank you for your time.
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Green

Dear Stephen,
Thank you for your request which was received by Sussex Police.
This request will be dealt with under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and you will receive a response within the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Act, from the date of receipt. In some circumstances Sussex Police may be unable to achieve this deadline. If this is likely you will be informed and given a revised time-scale at the earliest opportunity.
Some requests may also require either full or partial transference to another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest possible way. Again, you will be informed if this is the case.
Please Note:
Sussex Police are currently receiving a high volume of FOI requests at a time of reduced staffing levels to process them. Every effort is being made to comply with the statutory 20 working day response deadline but on occasions this may not be possible – we apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
Yours sincerely

Dear Sussex Police,
I am still waiting for a reply to this request, can you please advise?
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Green
Dear Sussex Police,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Sussex Police's handling of my FOI request 'Stonewall'. This request has taken an inordinately long period of time and I feel it's being overlooked.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Green
Dear Sussex Police,
I am still waiting on:
- An acknowledgement of my last request for an internal review of this FOI request
- A response to that review request
- A response to my original FOI request
If I don't hear back on this by the end of this month, I will duplicate a request to ICO to look into the reason for the delay and the lack of any acknowledgement.
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Green
Dear Sussex Police,
This is to advise that I have now submitted an "Access official information complaints form" with ICO
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Green

"The annual membership fee from Sussex Police to Stonewall is £2500 +VAT. Stonewall provide a range of resources and guides as well as advice on policy development."
Can you please confirm to me that this £2500 plus VAT is the gross amount paid to Stonewall by your organisation in any one year.
That there are no additional fees for policy development, benchmarking services or any such activity?
The phrasing of your response is such that I would like to ensure I understand you correctly.
Yours faithfully,
