Dear Ms Swinburn,

Please can I ask you to clarify if the below question is for all CYC job
posts or limited to Statutory, Chief and Deputy Chief Officers:

4. Between May 2022聽 and December 2022 please list all posts above that
have been vacated, advertised and or recruited and the mode of recruitment
used ( internal teams, Teckal Work withYork, NYCC staffers, or
professional recruitment agencies, other pl state).

I can advise that if you would like all information for all CYC job posts,
this is likely to include a large amount of information and will require
searches of information held in different formats and locations across the
council.

If the council calculates that complying with a request would take over 18
hours, it can refuse the information under section 12 of the FOIA. I am
mentioning this here because it is likely that a request for all posts
that have been vacated/advertised, would engage the cost limits.

This is not a refusal to process your request, but is information you
should be aware of when considering your response to clarify the
information you would like.

If however the information of interest to you is for all job posts it is
likely this may invoke the cost limits. The council may however be able to
respond to job posts for Statutory, Chief and Deputy Chief Officers within
18 hours after receiving your clarification, subject to any relevant
exemptions.

Furthermore it is likely the information for questions 1 to 3:

As at 1 January 2019 and 1 January 2023 can you please provide a usable
spreadsheet schedule of:

1. Statutory Officers - job titles, salary & post holder (pl mark if
either held by ( named)聽 interim or vacant)

2. Ditto all Chief Officers

3. Ditto all deputy chief officers

will be exempt under section 21 as the information is already accessible
to you on the following links:

[1]https://data.yorkopendata.org/dataset/ch...

[2]https://www.york.gov.uk/CouncilManagemen...

[3]https://www.york.gov.uk/council/service-...

Also relevant links and information has been previously provided in a
response in Oct 2021, please see below link:

The statutory deadline for compliance with your request will not begin
until we receive your clarification.

Kind regards,

Information Governance Advisor.

Dear Information Governance - CYC,

There can be very few statutory, chief and deputy chief officer posts, and very few vacated, held by interims, or advertised in that 6 month period - all of which would be held in central HR systems which should take minutes not hours.. as HR coordinates recruitment.. I contest your assertion and upon receipt of this, I hope it clarified for you.

Yours sincerely,

Gwen Swinburn
