Dear Heather Stains,
I wrote to you on the 16th April with a freedom of information request. You said you would respond to this within the 20 working day timescale. By law you should have responded by the 13th May.
This date has now gone and I have been given no explanation for the delay.
Can you please provide me with a response ASAP

Dear Health and Safety Executive,
Thankyou for your response. I will be more precise in my request. I just presumed you would be able to give me this information by location rather than exact HSE divisions.
I would like to make a Freedom of Information request for the following information
1. The number of HSE visits made in January 2020
following H&S concerns raised in the Scunthorpe Area or whatever division/region/area Scunthorpe falls under that resulted in an immediate shutdown of the factory or machinery?
2. How many of these shutdowns was appealed?
3 On what grounds was The appeals raised?
4. What was the average number of breaches found?
5. What was the highest number of H&S breaches found?
6. How many of these shutdowns then resulted in being given improvement notices.?
7. How many of these shutdowns then resulted in being given improvement notices with fines.?
8. How many of these shutdowns then resulted in prohibition notices?

I would appreciate if there are any problems with answering this request due to the location to be addressed quickly please As I didn’t realise I had to be that precise with the HSE divisions ect.

Yours faithfully,

Michaela Kingston
