We're waiting for WAY to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner,

I am hoping I have contacted the right department, if not please could you redirect me to the relevant person.

I am a student Officer for Hampshire Constabulary and currently conducting an evidence based Policing Project on the above matter.

I am keen to obtain information and statistics from other forces in relation to the below questions:

1) How long are Officer's in a holding cell with their detainee prior to detention being authorised by a Sergeant?
2) What is your booking in process?
Eg - How is information shared with the Custody Sergeant or Detention Officer prior to the booking in - Paper, email, phone, face to face ect.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,
