Statistics on the maintenance of footpath on Frankby Road B5139, opposite The Nook, CH49 1PE

Please can you supply under the freedom of information act:
* Dates of all safety inspections undertaken on the footpath in the last two years
* Details of all footpath defects identified during safety inspections in the last two years
* Details of how footpath safety inspections are undertaken.
* The intended frequency of footpath safety inspections.
* Details of all complaints and/or enquiries relating to the footpath, received in the last two years.
* The time period(s) adopted between identification and repair (temporary and permanent) of all categories of footway defects.
* Whether or not the authority has formally adopted all or part of the standards contained within the national code of practice for highways maintenance management.

If unable to locate the footpath please inform me and I can give a more detailed description.

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request regarding maintenance of
the footpath on Frankby Road B5139, opposite The Nook, CH49 1PE.

 

Please see the Council’s response to your enquiry below in bold, together
with the attached documents in support.

 

* Dates of all safety inspections undertaken on the footpath in the last
two years – August 2015, 2016 and August 2017 recently completed

* Details of all footpath defects identified during safety inspections in
the last two years - Details of works carried out are shown on the
attached inspection sheets.

* Details of how footpath safety inspections are undertaken. - All
inspections are carried out on foot.

* The intended frequency of footpath safety inspections. - Annual

* Details of all complaints and/or enquiries relating to the footpath,
received in the last two years. - The attached spreadsheet provides all
the enquires received in the past 2 years

* The time period(s) adopted between identification and repair (temporary
and permanent) of all categories of footway defects. - The Council has a
number of inspection response times, from; call out (2hrs) Priority 1
(24hrs) priority 2 (7 working days) priority 3 (28 working days) Priority
5 (40 working days) programmed works (90 working days)

* Whether or not the authority has formally adopted all or part of the
standards contained within the national code of practice for highways
maintenance management. - The code of practice has been used to assist the
drafting of the policy
