I am requesting for a statistics to be provided on the 2020 admissions to the Bsc Finance and Bsc Economics and Math programme offered by LSE. I want the following information:
1. No. Of indian students from ISC/CBSE who applied. for Bsc Finance or Bsc economics with Math along with their predicted scores or result.
2. No. of them who got an offer
3. No. of them who sent SAT or ACT scores and got an offer
4. No of them who sent AP scores and got an offer
Thank you for your email. As you will appreciate, information requests
place additional demands on the School in terms of costs and staff time.
At present we are having to prioritise our finite resources in order to
meet the unprecedented challenges we are facing during the Coronavirus
(COVID-19) pandemic. As such, we need to advise you that while we will
continue to process individual requests, you may experience some delay in
our response during the current pandemic.
Further to your recent FoI request, the Schools response is provided (in
Q1. No. Of Indian students from ISC/CBSE who applied. for Bsc Finance or
Bsc economics with Math along with their predicted scores or result.
A1. 60 Indian students from ISC/CBSE applied for BSc in Finance (UBFI) and
BSc in Mathematics and Economics (UBMAEC). Please find attached a
spreadsheet containing the predicted grades.
o The predicted scores are self-reported data.
o There are more rows than the number of individuals as some reported
each subject as a separate record, where some provided an overall
o Where there are no predicted grades shown this is due to us not being
provided with this information.
In addition, LSE offers the programme titled "BSc in Mathematics and
Economics" rather than "BSc Economics with Mathematics", we have
provided data for Mathematics and Economics for the response.

A3. The School does not consider SAT or ACT scores for entry, so this

of getting a place, remember that this cannot be answered by reference to
data. Applications are considered on their individual merits, based on a
holistic view of your supporting documents in the context of the current
cohort. Figures from previous years will not offer any insight on your
application. Your best way to find the answer is to apply.
