REQUEST:

 

Please can you tell me how many landlords have enforced section 21 (‘no
fault’ evictions) of the Housing Act 1988 on their tenants over the past
five years (2012-2017).

 

RESPONSE:

 

Arun District Council does not record this information therefore the
information you have requested is not held for the purposes of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000.

 

Please be advised that enforcement of Eviction Notices is carried out
through the County Courts and not the local authority.

 

If you are dissatisfied with the way your request for information has been
handled, you can write asking for a review of the Council’s response,
within the next two months, to the Information Management Team at: Arun
District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, West

If, having exhausted our review procedure, you remain dissatisfied with
the handling of your request or complaint, you will have a right to appeal
