Statistics for complaints against the police

Dear Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner,
Please provide the following information since the OFPCC has taken over the responsibility for the initial receipt of complaints against the police to the date of receipt of this FOI request..
1. How many complaints have been received by the OFPCC
2. A brief summary of the type of complaint
3. How many of those complaints were forwarded on to the Professional Standards Department of Northamptonshire police.
To assist those with a disability please provide the information with a font of at least 12 to 14 please.

Thank you for taking the time to contact me. Although I receive a large
number of correspondence daily, I will endeavour to respond to your
message as soon as possible.
My role as Commissioner is to be the voice of the public regarding
policing, crime and fire services. It is however important for you to be
aware what I cannot assist with and I would encourage you to review

assured I will directly raise them with the relevant authority where
appropriate. Unfortunately this does includes petitions which I do not
sign but will forward on if appropriate.

protocol dictates that I can only assist constituents of Northamptonshire
with casework related enquires.

I can confirm that the Office of the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and
Crime Commissioner holds the information you requested.
1. How many complaints have been received by the OFPCC - 1540
2. A brief summary of the type of complaint - Complaints received by the
OPFCC often contain a number of allegations which are recorded under one
reference number. A summary of the type of complaints is attached to this
email. Those complaints that contain multiple allegations are highlighted
in blue within the spreadsheet.
3. How many of those complaints were forwarded on to the Professional
Standards Department of Northamptonshire police - 894
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your
