Information requested under the Freedom of Information Act (FoIA)

Further to your request of 11 December 2018, I can confirm that we have
handled your request for information about average pass rates of practical
tests at the Swindon and Cheltenham test centres within the terms of the
FoIA.

Your request and our responses are as follows:

I would be grateful if you would provide statistics on the average pass
rates of practical tests at the Swindon and Cheltenham test centres:

(1) At each time: for example, 8.20.
(2) On each day: for example, Monday. 

The most recent statistics would be preferable.

Please see attached at Annex A the requested information.

You will note that some of the included information has been redacted and
replaced with an x. Please note we are unable to provide this information
as to do so would breach the first data protection principle (fair and
lawful) and as such the information is exempt from disclosure under
section 40(2) (personal information) of the FoIA. Disclosing this
information would potentially risk individuals being identified which
would be unfair to those who have not consented to the release of their
personal data.
