Hi Ash
Thank you for your request to access information from the University of
Warwick.
The University is not required to respond to requests where it would take
more than 18 hours of staff time to do so (the relevant law is set out in
the Freedom of Information Act 2000, section 12(1) and the Freedom of
Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations
2004).
• We estimate that it would take more than 18 hours of staff time to
respond to your request. This is because Q4 relates to predicted
grades which not a standard field on UCAS and therefore is not
recorded. Applicants may refer to predicted grades in their reference
and therefore may be in any format. This would require an individual
review of each application and so would exceed the cost limit.
You may wish to submit a refined request. By way of guidance, we expect
that we would be able to provide the following information within the
relevant limits:
• You can click on the following link to find the data that the
University can provide: [1]Admissions Data (warwick.ac.uk).
Please let us know if you would like to proceed on this basis. If so,
please also clarify the following:
1. Please confirm your full name (section 8(1)(b) of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 requires you to provide your full name when
making an FOI request)
We expect to be able to provide a further response within 20 working days
of your confirmation. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you
do not wish to proceed on the above basis and close your request.
Kind regards
Legal and Compliance Services

Hi Ash
Thank you for your refinement.
To comply with your request, please clarify the following:
1. Please would you confirm what you mean by ‘percentage of offers’ –
what would you like a percentage of?
We will be unable to progress your request until you have provided the
requested clarification; and the 20 working days timeframe for us to
provide a response will not begin until we have received your
clarification.
If we do not hear from you, we will close your request in 20 working days.
Kind regards
Legal and Compliance Services
