Dear Mr Phillips,

Could you please clarify the information that you require ?

Do you require the number of incidents attended by each station? This would mean some double counting as more than one station can attend the same incident.
or
Or the number of incidents in the wards that the stations look after for Prevention purposes (as we don't have 'station area' for mobilisation anymore)?

Thank you

Dear Barbara Wilkins,

If you could provide the number of incidents attended by each station and break it down as previously described, that would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your help.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Phillips

Dear Mr Phillips

RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST

I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now
completed its search for the information you requested on 5th June 2019.

Please find below a summary of our findings.

Request

Could you please provide me with a list of each of your stations and the
total number of all calls from 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2018.

Reply

This is the number of unique incident number attended by each station in
2018: if 2 appliances from the same station attended the same incident, it
counts once against that station; if 2 appliances from different stations
attend the same incident, it counts once against each station.

The break down provided missed out some incident types, Incident types
have been grouped into Fires, false alarms (including FAE, but also FAG
and FAM) and special service calls (including RTCs).
