Dear Mr Parker
I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request which was received by
ScotRail Trains Limited (SRT) on 06/07/2022. As SRT is a Scottish Public Authority, your
request is subject to the terms of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
(FOISA).
Your request
I am requesting sound file copies of the two jingles on your Ketech station automated
announcements system that play at Scotrail stations please. This is both the three chime
jingle and the four chime jingle that i am requesting. I require them to both be in MP3
file format or WAV file format please if possible.
Response to your request
Scotrail Trains does not hold the three chime jingle and is not aware of any other public
authority that could respond to your request. Section 17 of FOISA states that where
public authorities receive requests for information that they do not hold, they must issue
a notice advising that they do not hold the requested information. This letter should be
treated as formal notice.
The four chime jingle is attached.
