detailed the following information:-
1. Copy of your initial request.
2. The following information as per your request:
1. The Board received 749 requests to undertake a Statutory
Assessment. Records are not maintained regarding the Special Educational
needs of the child at the time of referral.
2. The Board undertook 653 statutory assessments in 2014. Again,
records are not maintained regarding the special educational needs of the
child at time of referral.
3. Of the 653 statutory assessments undertaken in 2014, Board records
would indicate that 92 pupils had their primary special educational needs
recorded as ASD/Aspergers Syndrome.
If you have any complaints in respect of your information request, please
submit your complaint in accordance with the Board’s Comments and
Complaints Policy which is available on the Board’s website.

Following a meeting of the South Eastern Education and Library Board
(SEELB) Internal Review Panel on 5 March 2015, the Panel, having assessed
your request for information and its response to you, can confirm that 555
pupils received a Statement of Educational Needs following the 653
statutory assessments undertaken by the SEELB in 2014.
