Waiting for an internal review by St Mary's University, Twickenham of their handling of this request.

Dear St Mary's University, Twickenham,

Student regnum 192446

St Mary's complaints policy states at section 2.6.4 of the Stage 3 (Review) Process

"2.6.4 The Review Panel will be chaired by a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will include at last one other member of staff who has had no previous involvement in the matter. The Panel will not normally meet the student unless they deem it necessary to reach an outcome".

The Chief Operating Officer, Jo Blunden wrote to one of your students rejecting their stage 3 complaint in an undated letter sent by email account of the complaints department on 19th October 2020.

In an email sent from Corrine Foster to Eleanor Hodge on Wednesday June 17th at 2.22 PM there was clear reference that the solicitor of St Mary's University solicitor (Zara) suggested consulting Simon Williams or Jo Blunden and Richard Prescott.

Given that the 17th June 2020 was when student was going through the stage 2 complaints process, can you please tell me whether Ms Jo Blunden was aware of the students stage 2 compliant in June 2020?

Can you also please send me all emails from the accounts of Jo Blunden, Simon Williams and Richard Prescott which makes reference to student regnum 192446 and any email that references the of charging accommodation fees/licence agreement up-to the 8th April 2020?

Yours faithfully,

Steven Carter

Dear St Mary's University, Twickenham,

On 25 Nov 2020 at 10:09 St Mary's FOI department received an email stating the authorisation to release the students internal emails into the public domain.

However, I would suggest that you redact the actual students name or replace it with the regnum.

Given costs, I would presume it to be cheaper that the students actual name is redacted, with the reason being; publication of the students actual name could prejudice them with their future career prospects.

Yours faithfully,

Steven Carter

Dear St Mary's University, Twickenham,
