Dear Staffordshire County Council,
My full name is Dr. Ines Lee. I am a lecturer in Economics at the University of York. I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act to request the following information on each secondary school in your borough:
- School Name
- Local Authority Establishment Number (LAESTAB)
- Unique Reference Number (URN)
- The number of children admitted under a distance criterion
- The distance of the furthest child admitted under a distance criterion
I would like this information for the school years 2013/14 through to 2014/15.

The county council does not hold information about all schools in the county.
DFE, other reference numbers aand status of schools is available online - https://www.get-information-schools.serv... Information on the website can be searched for/filtered by county.
As this information is available to you by other means it is exempt from release under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act.
The council's records retention policy for scholl admissions is 'Retain records 6 years after end of academic year' and therefore information for school years 2013/14 through to 2014/15 is no longer held.
