Staffing Gaps and Overtime Payments
Dear Swansea Bay University Health Board,
I write about an FOI on staffing in your health board and the amount of overtime paid since 2016. As a result I would be grateful if you could tell me:
1. The number of WTE currently on rota broken down by profession (doctors, nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants);
2. The number of currently unfilled WTE places broken down by profession;
3. The weekly hours given in overtime by profession in 2018-19 and 2019-20; and
4. Overtime spend in 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 broken down by profession.
Please exclude bank and agency staff in your calculations and thanks in advance for your help.
