Staff salaries

We confirm that the academy holds remuneration information in relation to all of its employees. However, the information is being withheld because the exemption in section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act applies, in that the information sought is the personal data of the employees involved and that it would contravene the data protection principles to disclose it, namely it would not be fair or in the public interest. I can advise you that the academy does disclose the salary bandings of higher paid staff in the annual financial statements and those financial statements can be found on the academy’s website.
