Staff redundancies in financial years 2016-17 & 2017-2018
Dear Broxtowe Borough Council,
For each of the financial years 2016-17 and 2017-2018 please state the numbers of non-manual ( i.e. 'administrative & professional') staff who left the council's employment in those two periods who were (1) made compulsorily redundant, (2) were given voluntary redundancy, and the total monetary amount paid out for each of those categories and financial years.
These amounts to include any severance payments and any redundancy lump sum payments.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Tom J

Dear Broxtowe Borough Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Broxtowe Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Staff redundancies in financial years 2016-17 & 2017-2018'.
My initial FOI request was submitted on 2nd May 2018; after more than 20 working days had passed with no substantive response I sent a follow-up message to you requesting the information again. Both messages received only standard acknowledgements, no substantive responses and no explanation for the delay in responding to my request.
No personal information was requested and the information requested will be readily available from data held in the Finance/Payroll/HR departments.
In the absence to any response from you explaining the reason for the delay or how you may regard the information as exempted, please now respond with the information within the next 5 working days.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...
Yours faithfully,
Tom J
