InfoMgr, FinDMT, Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council

Good Morning

Thank you for your recent request made under the Freedom of Information
Act.

In response to your enquiry, fewer than five current members of staff
within the Control Room hold an SIA CCTV Licence. These licences were
obtained when the Council previously performed different functions. Staff
are not currently required to hold an SIA Licence for the functions they
perform.

The Council can only state that the total is fewer than five to avoid the
possible identification of a living individual, as per the Data Protection
Act 1998. This information is therefore exempt under Section 40 (2) of the
Freedom of Information Act as it is considered to be personal data.

You have the right under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act to
request an internal review of the handling of your enquiry. To do so,
please email [1][Wirral Borough Council request email] and your review will be
allocated to an officer independent of the original response.

Should you be dissatisfied with the outcome of your internal review, you
have the right to take the matter to the Information Commissioner. Details
of how to do so can be found on their website at [2]this link.

Kind regards,

Sent on behalf of
