Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Please provide a breakdown of BBC Staff and Contractors expenses for Taxis and or Chauffer driven vehicle in the last 6 months.
For your guidance and information, may I have the Data in the following format ;
Job Title of Person claiming the expense
Date for Expense (Taxi or Chauffer driven)
Cost of trip in pounds
Reason for the expense and were they treated as a payment in kind and was Inland Revenue informed?
Please forward General Comments To Head of Corporation:
Perhaps an analysis of this information will assist the BBC in reducing costs and save Tax Payers money? i.e. £1 million on asking staff how it can do better. Do your Managers know how to communicate and work to tight budgets? do they get appraised and if necessary, receive Performance Management or do they just get salary increases automatically? The thought of giving Zoe Ball a Million Pound Pay Rise after her losing over a Million Listeners (mind boggling) and over 70 Presenters earning more than the Prime Minister? (What a Laugh and Disgrace the BBC has become).
As a corporation you certainly know how to anger nearly 4 million over 75s stripped of our free license fees.
