Dear Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council,

On 3 December 2014 a cleaning crew appeared to be pressure cleaning St Michael's Square. Please can you tell me the following:

a) what were the instructions to the cleaners for the job
b) why only the paving outside the shop/pubs were cleaned and not the middle oval with the trees
c) how much the cleaning on 3 December 2014 cost
d) who cleaned the square, council employees or an outside agency (please state name if agency)
e) who inspects and signs off the job
f) when is this square next scheduled to be cleaned
g) how often is st michaels square inspected
h) how many times has the square been cleaned in last 3 years and the costs
i) how many complaints regarding st Michael's square have been made within the last 3 years and the nature of the complaints.

Thank you for your email received 4 December 2014 requesting information
under the Freedom of Information Act.  I understand your request to be as
follows:

 

On 3 December 2014 a cleaning crew appeared to be pressure cleaning St

Information Act 2000.  In accordance with statutory requirements, it may
take up to 20 working days (approximately 4 weeks) for the Council to
consider your request and provide a formal response.  Should this 20
working day deadline need to be extended you will be notified and kept
informed.
