St John's Market - Failed £2.5 million Refurbishment - Free Rent

The request was successful.

Dear Liverpool City Council,
On the 27th July 2017 - [Housing & Sustainability Select Committee] A Motion was put forward which stated the following:
“This Committee notes with concern the serious problems being faced by market traders at St John’s Market, where only 29 out of 140 units are currently taken and some traders have given notice to terminate their lease as they are currently not even covering their costs."
Media
'Traders described the revamp of the market as 'shambolic'. Mayor Anderson accepted it had failed - promising to correct the situation.'

Please supply the following information:
[1] How many units in St John's Market are currently occupied by traders ?

[2]In 2017 Liverpool City Council stated that traders in St John's Market would have their rents reduced by 50% / or free rent for a certain amount of time. What is the total amount of rent lost to the Council through this scheme

[3] What is the total amount of Service Charge lost through this scheme?

Yours faithfully,

[4] Josie Mullen
