Spped Camera Information

The request was successful.

Stewart Cummings

Dear Highways England Company Limited,
I am advised that the alleged speed limit on the M1 Southbound at 'Tibshelf' was set at 60mph at 20.34 on 15/07/2019.

Please could you provide me confirmation of the recorded average speed of traffic in all lanes between junctions 29 & 28 at the time quoted above.

Please also provide precise timings and details of all of imposed variable speed limits and all variations to the speed limit (i.e. affecting southbound traffic on the M1 motorway between J29 & J28) for the period between 20.34 on 15/07/2019.

Also, in conjunction with the above details, please provide evidence of all driver information and enforceable speed limit driver information / signage displayed on all individual road signs located immediately before, between and immediately after junctions 29 & 28 (with the timing of any changes in information displayed) and confirm that all overhead signs were demonstrably operating correctly and displaying the correct 'current' enforceable speed limit information during the same periods.

Please provide details of any faults (reported, subsequently discovered, or otherwise) within any camera system, road signage, lighting system or monitoring or data collection apparatus associated with the same stretch of motorway at 20.34 on 15/07/2019.

Please could you let me know if this information is available on any public database or website.

Yours faithfully,
Stewart Cummings
