I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act.
Q1) For the previous 5 years please provide the total numbers of reports received by the university of incidents in which students have been spiked, plus any figures available for 2023 (specifying period). Please could you provide this data broken down by calendar year or by academic year, whichever is more convenient for you.
a) 2018 or 2017/18
b) 2019 or 2018/19
c) 2020 or 2019/20
d) 2021 or 2020/21
e) 2022 or 2021/22
f) 2023 or 2022/23 – latest available data
Q2) For the previous 5 years, please provide the total number of spiking allegations made against a student or staff member of the university, plus any figures available for 2023 (specifying period). Please could you provide this data broken down by calendar year or by academic year, whichever is more convenient for you.
a) 2018 or 2017/18
b) 2019 or 2018/19

d) 2021 or 2020/21
e) 2022 or 2021/22

Q3) For each of the spiking allegations detailed in the previous question, please state whether disciplinary proceedings were held and what the outcome of these disciplinary proceedings were?
