Spending on private consultants

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Croydon Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

Please can you provide me with information on how much Croydon Council spent on private consultancy firms in both the 2017/2018 and 2019/2020 financial year, and has spent in total to date (24 February 2021).

I would like the information to be broken down into the following:

(i) the total spend;

(ii) the name of each consultancy firm;

(iii) the top five consulting firms (by total spend);

(iv) a list of of each individual consultant providing services;

(v) their daily chargeable rates;

(vi) how the spend breaks down across each council department.

I would like this information to be displayed in Excel format, preferably a .CVS file.

Yours faithfully,

Oliver Murphy

Dear Croydon Council,

You have exceeded the statutory response time of 20-working days as outlined in the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please can I have an explanation as to why this is the case – and when I can expect a response to the information I have requested?

Yours sincerely,

Oliver Murphy
