Dear Mr Jackson
Thank you for your request for information made under the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) 2000, relating to the Common Purpose course. I am
pleased to provide the response below:
1. Name all employees who have attended a Common Purpose course?
Please see attached, this is the only record of information held
centrally, if any member of staff booked to attend training directly and
not through Learning and Development this information would be held
locally, which would mean contacting every manager individually and to do
so would exceed the appropriate limit of £450 (18 hours @ £25 per hour).
Therefore, under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act, we are not
obliged to deal with this element of your request.
2. How much money has been paid to this organisation?
2002 £6,168.75
2003 £28,634.25
2004 £11,742.50
2005 £28,397.63
2006 £14,546.50
2007 £9,223.76
2008 £3,407.50
2009 £6,612.50
2010 £2,350.00
3. Please provide copies of invoices/receipts.
In line with Kent County Council record retention policy all records are
destroyed after 6 years plus current, therefore we do not have any
invoices to provide.
If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied
with legislation, please ask for a review by following our complaints
process; details can be found at this link

on our website. Please quote reference FOI/17/2135.
If you still remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can
appeal to the Information Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of what you need to do, should
you wish to pursue this course of action, are available from the
Information Commissioner’s website [2]http://www.ico.org.uk/concerns.
Yours sincerely
