Spending at Trump businesses

The Water Industry Commission for Scotland did not have the information requested.

Dear The Water Industry Commission for Scotland,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from The Water Industry Commission for Scotland:

Totals for how much The Water Industry Commission for Scotland has spent at businesses owned or run by Donald Trump and/or the Trump Organization since January 2015.

I would like the information to be broken down by month as well as year.

Please provide the information in the form of an Excel of Google Sheets spreadsheet.

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please produce advice and assistance, under your Section 16 obligations, as to how I can refine my request to be included in the scope of the Act.

In any case, if you can identify ways that my request could be refined please provide further advice and assistance to indicate this.

I look forward to your response within 20 working days, as stipulated by the Act.

Many thanks for your request for information, which was received by us on
13 November 2020. 

 

The Water Industry Commission does not hold information on: totals for how
much The Water Industry Commission for Scotland has spent at businesses
owned or run by Donald Trump and/or the Trump Organization since January
2015, because our spending at Trump businesses is zero. Section 17 of
FOISA states that where public authorities receive requests for
information that they do not hold, they must issue a notice advising that
they do not hold the requested information.

 

If you are dissatisfied with the way in which we have dealt with your
request, you are entitled to request a review of our actions and decisions
in relation to this request. Please note that in order for a review to
take place, you must:

o Lodge a written “requirement for review” within 40 working days of the
date of this response;
o Include your address for correspondence, a description of the original
request and the reasons why you are dissatisfied; and
