Dear James Stevens,

Our Ref: FOI/1951

On 18/01/2021 you made the following request for information, which has
been dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.

Request for list of vehicles across the county (and from which station)
are equipped with CAFS to include information of which vehicles are
equipped with COBRA systems (High pressure lance) and RTC platforms.

We have now completed a search for the information which you requested and
confirm that this Authority holds data relevant to your request.

The Response to your request is as follows:

West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service has 5 appliances equipped with CAFS.
These are on our JDC build Scania 18 ton chassis Water Tender Ladders
based at Chichester, Worthing, Crawley, Horsham and Midhurst.

We do not operate any vehicles equipped with COBRA fire fighting
technology.  We do have 9 appliances equipped with Ultra High Pressure

12 ton Volvo chassis  Water Tender Ladders based at East Grinstead,
Haywards Heath, Crawley, Henfield, 2 x Worthing and Training Centre, with
two further off road vehicles based at Midhurst and Storrington with UHPS.

Our 3 heavy Rescue Tenders are all equipped with RTC Platforms, with one
further held at Horley for our Technical Rescue Unit / Training Centre
use.
