Please find the responses to your further request below in red font.
 
In relation to your answers to questions 1 and 2, we are seeking
information regarding the costs for barristers providing SEN legal advice
and/or SEN tribunal representation and would be grateful if you could
provide these figures.
 
In the last three years The local authority has procured external advice
from the following barristers chambers for SEN legal advice and tribunal
representation:
 
11 Kings Bench Walk
Doughty Street Chambers 
 
The costs detailed below are for obtaining barrister advice, including
written, oral and representation at tribunal.  The figures below represent
the fees paid during each year as opposed to the year in which the work
was carried out.  For example, if work was carried out in December but the
invoice only received in January of the following year, the amount would
be reflected in the figure for the following year.
 
2016: £2,624.04
2015: £0
2014: £6,048.00
 
Regarding question 3, the school's governing body would normally be the
responsible body that SENTW would contact re claims of disability
discrimination.
It is not clear from your answer how many claims for disability
discrimination have been lodged with SENTW relating to Ceredigion schools.
Please could you clarify this.
 
The local authority does not receive notification of claims registered
against schools from the SENTW and cannot therefore confirm whether or not
any claims for disability discrimination have been lodged with SENTW
relating to Ceredigion Schools.  The local authority does not hold this
information. 
Schools may hold their own information. FOI requests in relation to
Schools should be made directly to those schools.  Contact details for the
primary, middle and secondary school are available from our website under

The SENTW may also hold the information you require.  The Tribunal records
statistical information about the number and type of appeals received. 
Annual reports can found on the SENTW website

The answer to question 3 obviously effects your answer to questions 4 and
5, please could you revise these accordingly if necessary.
 
4. The local authority has not been involved in any hearings in any of the
last three years and is not aware of any claims that have proceeded to a
hearing in any of the last three years. 
 
5. The local authority has not spent any money opposing any claims for
disability discrimination in any of the last three years.
