Southern Water s.156 Consent

Shaun Morris made this Freedom of Information request to Natural England

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Natural England should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Natural England,

I require a copy of consultations, consents, and authorisations which were required to be obtained from you prior to Southern Water's disposal of its protected land in an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) - as regulated under Section 156 of the Water industry Act 1991.

My question relates to the Steyning Road, Water Supply Works, Shoreham-by-Sea, where 4 to 5 acres of land were disposed of in 2007/2008 and where the land was located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (Now a National Park - The South Downs National Park).

Yours faithfully,
S. Morris.
