Dear Information Requests,
Thank you for this response, which is much appreciated. The overlay is excellent, and extremely interesting. However, my request was for the "trackplan". With apologies if this wasn't entirely clear, I had been seeking the detail at the individual running line level, rather than the route schematic.
I would be grateful if this could be revisited with a view to providing that additional information.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Davie
Dear Paul Davie
Please may I offer our apologies for the misunderstanding as I’m
unfamiliar with this type of information. I will contact the service who
provided the information regarding this.
Is there an example online of a ‘trackplan’ which you could provide a link
to ensure we provide the information you are seeking?
Yours sincerely,
Kyle Hopkins

Dear Information Requests,
Thank you for the response, and I appreciate your honesty in seeking the clarification. The level of detail that I am seeking is equivalent to that shown at https://cartometro.com/cartes/metro-glas... for the Glasgow Underground.
The distance information between stops is also interesting, and I'm grateful for the efforts of those who've produced it. But it does leave me confused as to the distances in the area of Park Street, where the tramway forms a triangle.
Thank you in anticipation,
Paul Davie
Dear Paul Davie
Thank you for your e-mail. I have checked with the service who provided
the network map in response to your request. They have advised that
unfortunately we do not hold an overview of the network in the same way as
the Glasgow map you provided a link to.
The network map previously provided was created to try and resolve your
request but to provide any further detail would be a manual, time
consuming process. The Freedom of Information Act only applies to
information held by the Authority at the time a request was received, we
are not required to create information to respond to a request, we would
need to consider whether this would be applicable to any further requests
for information relating to this.
Regarding the query raised on distances:
• 806 is the distance between Ponds Forge/Fitzalan Square and Sheffield
Station/Sheffield Hallam University
• 841 is between Ponds Forge/Fitzalan Square and Hyde Park.
A full map detailing each stop on the Sheffield Supertram network is
available at the link below:
[1]https://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com/get...
Not recorded on the network map previously provided is the distance
between Sheffield Station/Sheffield Hallam University and Hyde Park – that
distance is approximately 1,184m. This wasn’t previously included as this
does not form part of any of the standard four routes that the trams
usually operate.
I apologise that we are unfortunately not in a position to provide the
information you are seeking but I hope the details provided are of some
use.
Yours sincerely,
Kyle Hopkins
