South Lakeland Local Committee - report on appointment of school governor
Dear Cumbria County Council,
At the meeting of the South Lakeland Local Committee held on 26 March 2018, the minutes of the previous meeting were amended to add Ms R Kennington to the schedule of governors agreed at the previous meeting. There is no indication that this appointment was made at the previous meeting and this amendment was therefore to correct an error in the minutes. Therefore can I have the report which the Committee relied on at the March 2018 meeting to make this appointment.
Yours faithfully,
Mr A Harwood
Dear Cumbria County Council,
As I have not received a reply within the statutory timescales I am requesting an internal review

Dear Cumbria County Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Cumbria County Council's handling of my FOI request 'South Lakeland Local Committee - report on appointment of school governor'.
The response I received referred me (with the wrong link) to a report considered by the Local Committee on 31 January. I asked to see the report that was considered at the March meeting where the decision was made. Ms Kennington was not appointed at the January meeting. At the March meeting the following was agreed "Under Minute Number 61, Appointment of County Council Governors it was
AGREED that Ms R Kennington be added to the schedule of individuals nominated." So actually there is no decision to appoint her anywhere.
I see that the report on the appointment of school governors for the January meeting now includes Ms Kennington's name. Is this the original published report or has it been updated since? If it is the original report why did the March meeting agree to add her to the schedule if she was already on it?
So I would like to see the report the Local Committee relied on in March to make the decision to appoint her as well as the report for the 31 January meeting that was originally published as I suspect it has been updated since the meeting and re-published. I would also like to see the minute of the meeting which details her actual appointment and not just a reference to adding her to the schedule of nominees.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...
Yours faithfully,
Mr A Harwood
